About Me

Dr. Jamie Siegel

A Little About Me

I am a licensed psychologist practicing in Plainsboro, New Jersey. I hold active licenses in New Jersey (5998) and Massachusetts (9674)and am authorized through PSYPACT (9473) to practice telehealth in a number of states across the country.

I specialize in anxiety and perinatal mental health, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, pregnancy-related concerns, and life transitions. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based therapy in a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative.

My Training & Background

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Latino Mental Health. During my training, I worked in a variety of settings, including:

After graduation, I completed my post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, a multi-specialty medical group, and Riverside Community Care, an outpatient community mental health center.

Soon after becoming licensed in Massachusetts, I opened my private practice in Newton, MA,  before returning to New Jersey to serve the community where I grew up.

My Approach to Therapy

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and insight-oriented work.

I believe therapy should help you:

Whether you are adjusting to parenthood, coping with postpartum depression, navigating infertility, or managing chronic anxiety, therapy can help you feel more steady and more like yourself again.
